Chamber Soloists

(Delftsche Courant)

The NDA Chamber Soloists ensemble explores the richness of 18th century chamber repertoire, presenting modern audiences with engaging and vibrant performances of unique programmes, offering new insights into classic 18th century masterworks as well as introductions to newly redisocovered musical gems from the period.

The repertoire of the NDA Chamber Soloists ranges from JS Bach through to the Bach Sons and Abel through to Mozart, Beethoven, Reichardt, Pleyel and Mendelssohn in ensemble sizes ranging between 3 to 12 musicians. A particular speciality of the Chamber Soloists is the programme Bach and his Dutch Contemporaries.

The NDA Chamber Soloists perform regularly in the NDA's own Chamber Series in The Hague and are regularly invited to give recitals and concert performances at the major halls and series in The Netherlands, at  the leading  European Festivals and at prestigious historical venues. Recent touring highlights have included performances at the Handelhaus in Halle, at the Residenzschloss in Weimar and for the Bachfest Leipzig, and further afield, at the Getty in Los Angeles.

Other international touring activities have taken the Chamber Soloists to Canada, the U.S.A., Asia and Australia where the Soloists have given concerts, radio broadcasts as well as educational activities including masterclasses, workshops and lecture recitals.
